The Borrowers are a fresh, original, and independent rock band from Lake Havasu City, Arizona with a strong classic rock influence and a penchant for expanding that influence into music that moves the modern world. Together since 2014, the band has forged a unique sound that’s been described as Indie Rock, Progressive Rock, Baroque Pop, Post-Punk Revival, Alt Rock, New Wave, and Pop/Rock. One listen to the band’s recent release Semblance will quickly make all those descriptions make immediate sense and get you clued in to this energetic and deeply lyrical crew. Comprised of lead singer/rhythm guitarist Cameron Marin, bassist Elliot Seidel, drummer Jake Hoffman, and lead guitarist Dylan Barnick, the group pulls inspiration from artists including The Killers, Rush, Fun, Journey, Bright Eyes, Death Cab for Cutie, Led Zeppelin, Augustana, The Doors, and Cage The Elephant but never gets caught in the trap of imitation.
