Dante Whitley is an all around artist who has always had a deep love for music. From the time he heard Lil Kim’s Lighters Up and Mariah Carey’s Shake It Off on Washington DC’s own 93.9 WKYS, he knew that he wanted to be a performer. He was born and raised in DC until the age of 12 when he moved to Southwest Virginia. He would find himself going back and forth between the two areas until he and his family eventually settled in Roanoke, VA. His rap influences include Nas, the Notorious BIG, Drake, Kanye West and XXXTentacion. His vocal influences are Rod Stewart, Michael Jackson, Prince, Mariah Carey, Gladys Knight, and Tina Turner. Also, he’s a huge fan of Beyoncé.
