With a name that is a play on the Hip Hop culture itself, The Kulture is an artist who has lived all over the Western Cape. He uses his experiences growing up in The Mother City and what he has experienced or seen as the basis for his music. The Kulture Cape Town's most notable battle rap league, Own The Block's #DontChokeRapChallenge in 2017, in which he reached the final which was hosted by YoungstaCPT. He has worked with the likes of Lungelo Lubelwana, Isaac Mutant(DOOKOOM), ArabSosa, GREEKGOD & more. Even though his sound and demeanor is that of a modern Hip-Hop artist, he has managed to find a perfect balance in being able to produce traditional Hip-Hop tracks centered at showing off his wordplay skills, flow & cadence while also showcasing his lyricism and storytelling.
