Nashville-based singer/songwriter/recording artist Tom Nelson has performed at a number of top Los Angeles venues such as Doug Westin’s Troubadour, Ledbetter’s, The Horn and many other locations. His rich and distinctive honey vocals and guitar licks bring a unique sound all his own to his original songs as well as his stylized classic standards, pop, country, jazz & gospel. Tom is a member of NSAI (Nashville Songwriter’s Association International) and had three original songs played on over 300 stations nationally as well as on the Armed Forces network. Tom fell in love with Nashville and relocated in 2019 to continue writing and singing after his producer Johnny Janis moved here. One of the songs they produced, Butterfly Days, was written by Boudleaux Bryant of the famous House of Bryant. Boudleaux and Felice Bryant are celebrated as Nashville’s first professional songwriters. Tom’s talent has been honed by his work with top professionals, arrangers, and producers.
