💥I WROTE THIS SONG 40 YEARS AGO!💥 🎶 Performance by All Human Musicians! 🎶 - Inspired by a True Life Disaster Software Project in Israel! After nearly a Year Away from Home, I was homesick, and just wanted to come back home... - Now, 40 years later, my Life has come full circle, with opportunities and challenges that were never dreamed possible. AND This Time I am seizing every moment of Life and Living Like there's no tomorrow. It's Once in a Lifetime... Again! - Vocals: Michael Fairman Guitars and Bass: Scott Gradert Midi Drums: Scott Gradert - Once In A Lifetime - Once in a lifetime, baby, You have a calling from so far away. Your feet keep running but you want to stay. - I don’t know what I am saying, Or even who I am talking to. I just know I gotta break away. - I just need my sense of freedom, To feel like I’m on my own. Nothing behind, But an empty road. - I got a passport, baby, But it don’t get me where I’m going to. Can’t even put it on my credit card. - If you think you know me one way, I got some money if you wanna buy some. Playing games must be by the rules. - I just need some sense of freedom, To feel like I’m on my own. Nothing behind, But an empty road. - Don’t turn away, Don’t turn away. Can’t find Can’t My Way Back Home. - Once in a lifetime, baby, You have a calling from so far away. Your feet keep running but you want to stay. - I don’t know what I am saying, Or even who I am talking to. I just know I gotta break away. - I just need some sense of freedom, To feel like I’m on my own. Nothing behind, But an empty road. - Don’t turn away, Don’t turn away. Can’t find the way Can’t find the Way Back home. - (C) 1986 Scott A. Gradert -more
