The Canada Song
πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦πŸŽΈ THE CANADA SONG IS OUT NOW! πŸŽΈπŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ Today I'm excited to finally release The Canada Song. I wrote this song because I wanted to pay tribute to the great Canadiana music I grew up listening to and the incredible Canadian storytellers who helped shape my love of music. Artists like Stompin' Tom Connors taught us that our own stories, places, people, and sense of humour were worth singing about. They celebrated Canada not because it was perfect, but because it was home. Last summer I found myself reflecting on all the things that make Canada unique. The small towns. The back roads. The lakes. The accents. The seasons. The people. The things we laugh about. The things we complain about. The things we love. The Canada Song grew out of that reflection. It's my own small contribution to the tradition of Canadian storytelling songs that I grew up with. I'm proud to be Canadian. And honestly, I can't imagine calling anywhere else home... except maybe for a few weeks when it's -30 and the snow is blowing sideways. πŸ€£β„οΈ I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed creating it more
