Back On The Horse
My younger daughter loves horses. It was only natural that her song would have a horse theme. Hope other people identify with the imagery. more

Had an interesting experience writing this song - I woke up in the middle of the night thinking about the lyrics and had to complete the song before I was able to get back to sleep. This song was the first time I wrote in the first person from some else's point of view. It was an interesting exercise and I've done it a few times since then. It was also the first time that I felt that electronic drums had the right feel for the song - even though I've blended an electronic kit and acoustic kit for the final drum track.more

Because we've got so much and they've got so little. The picture of two young boys holding hands was published in the Sydney Morning Herald in the lead up to the overwhelmingly successful 1967 Referendum on Aboriginal rights in Australia. more
