McClusterfuker
I despise you from your head down to your toes Look me in the eye And I'll punch you in the nose It's never easy comes Just easy goes Every day I disbelieve the moron that you chose McClusterfuker Bleed away This wasted day Think I'd rather burn Than live each day in shame I know you're hurt I know I let you down I should've put you first Instead I watched you drown Please know that I'm sorry And I regret my words so much Not a day goes by that I don't miss your touch But I wonder Why was I not enough Tell me again how useless I am Not worthy of trust I watched it end before it could begin Now it hurts And I can't mend Do you have some faith to lend So I can make it end McClusterfukermore

The Pain We Keep Alive
‘The Pain We Keep Alive’ is about an uncomfortable truth, the more we look away, the more we distance ourselves from the problems people face here in the Northern Territory and remote Australia, the longer we give life to the pain these problems bring. The lyrics contain the description of the story of oppression and how modern Australia has addressed it. The Bridging the Gap Royal Commission’s findings and evidence that these problems have not gone away, in many cases have become worse and yet the perception in the media, for the sake of tourism or to globally save face as a nation, is that equality not only exists but is celebrated. It makes you realise there is a more troubling narrative here that non indigenous Australians find a subconscious benefit or gain from feeling separated and not the same, and therefore not part of or responsible for helping in the struggles and oppression. This track asks this difficult question, why are we not doing more, why is it accepted as ok? more

A Distorted Poetrait
A Distorted Portrait is a raw, heavy reflection on identity, perception, and the ugliness that can exist beneath the surface. It’s about looking at yourself, the world around you, and the distorted image that gets created when reality is filtered through pain, anger, and experience. Blending crushing hardcore energy with Trenchlord’s gritty, unapologetic sound, the song paints a picture of a world that isn’t always what it appears to be—and a person trying to recognize themselves through the distortion. This is A Distorted Portrait.more
