The introduction to this is meant to express the emptiness I felt at a time when my life was falling apart so much I was feeling like I didn't deserve to be here and I was using oxygen that someone else would be better off using. I tried to end it all with an overdose of painklillers after surgery on my knees which was one of the major issues at the time as my career in the Australian Army seemed to have come to an end. I was a christian but felt like God had left me. My faith wasn't as strong as Job's and as such tried to end it. Overnight God was at work healing me and I realised 24 hours later that my life was just resetting and starting over again. In 2020, during the COVID lockdowns God stimulated my mind to start writing songs. This one was the second one I wrote. It tells the true story of my battle with stresses and my attempted suicide. This version is all my work, no AI as in the version released on my first album. I apologise for the 2 minute intro, but to me it shows the emptiness in my mind at the time leading up to events of September 6, 2007.more
