Turnpike Troubadours
Turnpike Troubadours is an American country music group from Oklahoma founded in 2005. The band, whose name is derived from the bumpy Oklahoma toll-roads and their hard lived folk singing heroes, are proof that isolation can be the mother of originality. Cutting their teeth in roadside dance halls and honky-tonks has made a serious impact on the band’s musical style, which walks the line between Woody Guthrie and Waylon Jennings. “Bossier City,” the band’s debut album, is testament to the small towns in which they were raised.

Time and Tide
Time and Tide is a single by The Red Dirt North Band released in 2026. There is an old proverb from the 13 century that states "Time and Tide wait for no man," and it was used most famously in the book The Canterbury Tales, by Geoffrey Chaucer in 1395. As with many text, the last part of that proverb was lost to history until now - Through careful research, The Red Dirt North Band have determined the original proverb was "Time and Tide wait for no man......and neither does she" - Mastered by mixea.commore

Never Lost
Earlier this year, on April 13, Dad received a phone call from our cousin, Erin Patton. During their conversation, Erin mentioned an idea she'd carried with her for years, ever since she was a little girl. Then she told him, "Write this down." Dad happened to be out in his shop, and the only thing he could find to write on was a bubble mailer envelope. So he grabbed a pen and started writing down what she said. Erin told him she thought it should be a song. Dad took her idea, added to it, and eventually sent it to me to put to music. Sadly, Erin passed away at just 46 years old. What began as a little girl's idea, carried in her heart for so many years, eventually became a song. And thanks to that phone call, a pen, and an old bubble mailer envelope, a little piece of Erin's imagination lives on through music. more

Pull The Trigger
To love someone is to give them the absolute power to destroy you. It is placing a loaded weapon in their hands and trusting blindly that they won't pull the trigger. That is exactly what this new song is about. "Pull The Trigger" out now on all platformsmore
