In Pieces is sorta like a relentless chase for the same person. Almost like being used, especially when the line "whatchu pay me for?" comes in. To be used by another person for your services or products, or even what you can teach them, when you have feelings for them and they are not reciprocated, can feel like you are rolling a big rock up a mountain, and the mountain is filled with snakes and butter, so you keep slipping, but if you fail to push the rock up, you will get run over.
