Simple arpeggios
Simple recording for chords that are just as simple, with no post-production. Two tracks for one song played on my old acoustic guitar.more

Atmospheric Melodic Metal This track is built around a simple, classic metal riff. It’s centered on an E riff (the low open string on the guitar), incorporating the notes G and F♯ on the same string (frets 3, 2, and 0). Even though the riff is simple, its distinctive feature lies in its variations, which emphasize the rhythm and make use of rapid repetition to enhance the overall impact. As for the arpeggiated chords, they are played in a harp-like style, supporting the ethereal female vocals and contributing to a dreamy, airy, almost whimsical atmosphere. You can also hear the harp (played via a VST) during the "a cappella" vocal section. Impact sound effects are also used to reinforce the kick drum. The lead guitar solos are straightforward—there’s no emphasis on flashy technical display, just what’s needed to be effective and true to the spirit of a classic metal solo. Light, subtle synth notes also accompany the track, adding an atmospheric feel.more

Metacognitive Distress
Click on the illustration of this song and tell me how many faces you counted. 😊 About the song: When philosophy, thought, and music come together to express a reality of the sensible world, in a song that evolved as a lost mind sank deeper into the abyss of its own shadow, the result is, in all modesty, a song worthy in its own right.more
