I´m Blombird from Norway. I am a nurse with further education in crisis and disaster psychology, and music and health, to name a few. I know that we humans can use music to regulate ourselves and make ourselves more resilient to crises and stress in life. I have always used the pen or keyboard to write out feelings when I am upset, provoked or full of sorrow. When I look at the world today, I feel all the emotions at once. I need to vent what I feel and writing puts me in a better mood, and it is a big bonus if it can help others too. In an unstable and somewhat scary world, we need to stand together and use music for some of what it does best, to bring people together and create good feelings, but also to dare and stand up for our own opinions and set boundaries for what is acceptable behavior by our "elected" world leaders. You kan listen to Blombird at Spotify, Apple Music, tidal, deezer among others.

Trump Bonaparte
Blombird is back, and the world should be listening. As a worldwide phenomenon in political satire, Blombird’s new funky track «Trump Bonaparte» dances straight through borders, empires, and egos. Built on an irresistibly funky groove, the song spins childhood games into sharp commentary: «ring around the oil rig, duck, duck, regime». The lyrics imagine borders as erasable pencil lines, and presidents playing Napoleon in a sandbox of oil, maps, and power, proving that history doesn’t just repeat, it remixes itself. Playful, and bitingly relevant, this is a satiresong you can move to, and think about later. Text: Kaia Draugedalen Blomberg/ Blombird What if borders were suggestions Like a pencil you can rub
What if empires were hobbies For the «entitle lobby club» What if flags were stickers You could slap on any land What if maps were menus And nations just a cart And what if you as a president behave like Bonaparte What if Napoleon had a hat And very giant dreams And measured worth in acreage Marched right through regimes What if he wanted snow and glory Maps to match his name Then history will call it conquest When someone see a land they claim And centuries later at 3 a.m. We watch reruns of the same ambition It’s ring around the oil rig, duck, duck, regime Three year old commander with a sandbox scheme Jumps from the desk with batman-wings Then gets bored and calls a former princemore

Trump Bonaparte
“Trump Bonaparte, Ring Around the Oil Rig” is Blombird’s new funky anthem of political déjà vu. With a groove you can’t sit still to and lyrics that play hopscotch with history, the song asks: What if borders were just pencil lines, empires were hobbies, and presidents played Bonaparte in a sandbox of oil and ego? Blombird juggle nursery-rhyme chants into sharp satire, “ring around the oil rig, duck, duck, regime” painting a world where power changes hands like toys, maps feel like menus, and old ambitions keep rerunning at 3 a.m. It’s playful, biting, and uncomfortably familiar. If you like your politics funky, your history looped, and your humor a little dangerous, this track is for you. more

Occam´s razor to Kanye
Ye/Kanye West, surprise-dropped “Heil Hitler” on May 8 2025, posting the full track and video exclusively to X (formerly Twitter). He chose the date pointedly: 80 years to the day after Victory in Europe, when Nazi Germany surrendered. The song instantly became a case study in the “free-speech versus hate-speech” debate: supporters framed the takedowns as censorship, critics called them overdue. Brussels Signal summarized the dilemma well—some platforms enforced zero-tolerance rules, others rode the engagement wave, and the controversy itself amplified the track’s reach. The lyrical conceit—equating personal grievance with Nazi ideology—offers no genuine critique, no satirical distance, and no redemptive perspective. Instead it normalizes one of history’s starkest symbols of hate in the name of attention. As *The New Yorker* put it, the song is “menacing because West knows exactly what he’s doing—and because he may also be unhinged.”(newyorker.com) Blombirds’ track, «occam´s razor to your ego, Kanye» wants to highlight the difference between provocative art and irresponsible, harmful rhetoric. It is ment to be a intellectual critique delivered through wordplay, philosophical references, and biting satire. Responding directly to Kanye West’s highly controversial "Heil Hitler," Blombirds doesn't merely condemn; it intellectually dissects, dismantling Kanye’s disturbing provocation.more
