Drag Queen’s inspiration comes from drag performers’ discussions on their dual personas. I believe, for a lot of people, sometimes we can blur the lines between the character version of ourselves that we project in the outside world, as metaphoric drag queens, with the actual individual we are in our private world. Furthermore, in some cases, we also need to perform who we are in order to survive in certain social settings. “Drag Queen” is a reflection of who are we deep down inside and pays homage to all the queens and kings who entertain, advocate, and educate: our glimmers in the sky.more
