Ryan Robert Jones is a Minnesota-born film composer and musician who specializes in writing his own form of harmonically rich, hybrid orchestral music. Ryan’s music can be heard on SyFy, FOX, CNN, National Geographic, Discovery, Lifetime, Telemundo, FOX Sports, and PBS; to name a few.
A turning point in Ryan’s career occurred in 2014 when he was hired by Remote Control Productions in Santa Monica, California under the direction of Hans Zimmer (The Lion King, Gladiator, The Dark Knight). There, he was afforded the opportunity to be a part of the Oscar nominated movie Hidden Figures, as well as Junkie XL’s Deadpool, and Kung Fu Panda 3. In 2016, Ryan was hired as an assistant composer by world renown composer, producer and musician Bryce Jacobs (Rush, SyFy’s 12 Monkeys, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3). In 2017, Ryan had several of his original pieces selected by Audio Network to be recorded live by the London Philharmonic Orchestra at Abbey Road Studios in London, England.
