Darrell Council better known by his stage name Da Homie Q is an American rapper from Augusta, Georgia. Q's style is described as universal, refined southern music. Q is gifted with the ability to grasp the attention of his listeners. ".Q began writing raps at the age of 12 and poetry at 16. “I can remember listening to Tupac’s album Me Against The World and my mama saying that he was her favorite rapper, although I always had a passion for music at that moment she had inspired me to rap.” Writing raps had become a newfound hobby for the mc and the hobby quickly grew into a passion for Q. In sixth grade Q was in a group called Avalanche consisting of 3 other rappers who shared the same dream, to make it in the music industry.
