I am a huge neotraditional country "fan". This is my sweet spot for singing and style. My musical taste, however, covers the spectrum. Over 40+ years, I have been blessed to sing with multiple bands and earn an opportunity to perform at the Ryman Auditorium (Grand Ole Opry) and Newport Music Hall.
All of the music on this profile are original songs I wrote. Some of the songs are performed by me. Many however have been rewritten and recorded. Today, I work both digitally and with musicians to rerecord and produce some of my newer original songs, as well as finally put unrecorded material to music. What you'll hear past 2020 are 100% original lyrics and melodies, put to music by human, midi, a lot of DAW work, and some AI assistance.Hear something you like? Last Damned Gunslinger
I wrote this song. I gave a demo to a very good friend. He had an artist working in his studio at that time that loved it. This is her recording of it.
If you will, please listen to the versions linked to help her get some credit.
Originally written as a tribute to one of my favorite singers, Johnette Napolitano of Concrete Blonde.
98% similar to how I wrote it and my demo sounded. She adjusted some of the phrasing, and trimmed the song for streaming.more

Love's Goin Round
The only other punk alt/punk song I've written. Originally written in the 90's, this was a bit more pop at the time. I later re-tooled the lyrics and the beat, and presented it to some friends that had a more alt punk band.
They loved, they covered it and we recorded it, and then they broke up and never released it. I still keep it on my profile for folks to hear. No, that's not them. I doctored up a new band picture when I posted it..more

Song for Denise (Anymore)
A simple song for my wife. We met 30+ years ago, and I'm still not sure why she ever fell for me. Me however, I was in 3 seconds after we met.
Not sure I'll ever have the correct words for a proper song.
Quick note. This track still has my demo vocals. more
