Killing Time is the second track off my third album Hide And Seek. The song uses the sound of a digging shovel as the basis of the beat for the song. This song consists of only 6 verses. My original concept for this song was simply about a man digging a hole in the ground. I then built a story around that imagery and why he would be doing that. The resulting lyric tells of a man who saves a woman from her abusive partner but in the process of doing so ends up killing him. He then decides to bury the body and make up an alibi. Do they live happily ever after? I won't spoil the ending ; ) more
