Marcos and Lauren met at a house party in Los Angeles in 2012. Their friendship blossomed into love as their mutual passion for music inspired them to create, Gold Anchor, with Marcos on drums and Lauren on vocals and guitar. In 2015, they moved to Puerto Rico to live and play music. In 2017, hurricane Maria forced them to leave that magical island and they returned to LA. They’ve been collaborating with friends, performing in Puerto and Los Angeles. They released their first EP, Somewhere to Land in 2020. Currently they are releasing singles from their upcoming album. In 2024 they released Fountains of Love and Colors. They are releasing Speak to Me on February 18th, 2025. Stay tuned!
