From Lisbon, Portugal; Grand Sun is António Reis, João Ribeiro, João Simões and Miguel da Costa Gomes. They sing about peculiar characters they find every day. They also sing about escapism and existential fear. You could call them a sunshine band with heavy influences from the late 60's and '70s, sometimes a psychedelic pop act, most times with a garage/post-punk attitude.

Conceptualize
Grand Sun's new cut, 'Conceptualize' was written in rural Portugal on a very rainy day in early August 2020, after the release of their first LP (Sal Y Amore). The hauntingly beautiful melody of 'Conceptualize' comes from the concept of finitude, a loop of life that doesn't allow us to move away and pay attention to the people around us and what relates us to reality. more

Feeling Tired
~ From Grand Sun's debut LP, ‘Sal y Amore' Feeling Tired is a sonic trip to the band's chaotic mind. This record is a caustic spice in a timeless party, where the band doesn't have any reservations in showing themselves as they want: intense and festive. ~more

Veera
~~ Veera is a very enigmatic girl. While contemplating her, the band trips through the psychedelia of the '60s and '90s, while wearing this eccentric and existentialist skin. Good for drowsy sunsets and surfing in the purple seamore
