This song is based on how couples sometimes express their love through flowers. Different flowers symbolize different things, for example, I used chrysanthemum, daffodil and forget-me-not to represent fidelity, joy, and true love. I’m writing from the perspective of the receiver of the flowers. They saw the flowers as promises, they thought that the sender would honor their words and love them as promised, but ended up getting their heart broken in a brutal way. more
