This song is dedicated to all of my friends and family who have gone on to be with the Lord, but a special dedication to my good friend Gene Huff who went to be with the Lord at age 90 in 2022 . Prior to his passing he and I had a conversation about the sadness of loved ones passing away and the joy there will be when we are reunited in heaven. During that conversation he made the statement to me "I'm tired of saying goodbye, aren't you? I'm ready to say hello." That conversation is the inspiration for this song.
