My name is Katya Davis and I am a 28 year old singer songwriter with dual citizenship of the UK and New Zealand. I have been writing and singing since I was a child (including some terrible acapella pieces that will never see the light of day) but my insatiable anxiety has always held me back. I believed for a long time I lacked the robust self esteem needed to be in the music industry. Cut to lock-down, stuck in NZ with just my dad, two dogs, no job and no excuse, I put myself out there and started working with some up and coming producers. I now, for the first time have professional sounding material that I am excited , if a little nervous ( a lot) to share. I am an avid writer and believe writing lyrics to be my greatest strength. My favourite pastime is finding instrumentals I like on YouTube and writing a song over the top of it.
