McKinley Jackson, better known by his stage name Kene Wayne, is an American musician, singer, songwriter, and rapper. He is regarded as one of the most charismatic artists of his times. Born in New Orleans and raised in Four Corners, Louisiana, Kene Wayne began his musical career in the early 2000s. His mother and father played an essential role in the development of his talents, where they introduced him to the church, and began the fostering of his musical talents. Shortly after his mother passed, Kene began to cultivate his love for music, he entered talent shows at his alma mater, West St. Mary High School, where he instantly made a name for himself.
