This is another song off of my recent EP "Tales From Hali", (CHECK OUT MY YOUTUBE TO WATCH THE MUSIC VIDEO FOR THE FIRST SINGLE IN 4K!) This was the first track I recorded for this project, finally coming back to music after making it out of rock bottom/hell.. but the thing with this record is I was still in it slightly, or just on my way out. I recorded this in my drug and crime infested neighborhood and ill never forget how much this song matched the vibes of all the crazy stuff going on in my neighborhood at the time. And I touch on losing my woman to suicide, my time selling and then using drugs myself, and my battle with the devil, but how I had God with me the whole time to save me. Its definitely a deeper track and I am vulnerable in it, but maybe someone can relate and it will help them....while I still show my skills as a lyricist at the same time as telling my story. This is a song I made featured on my recent EP "Tales From Hali" I remember my life had reached rock bottom and I was finally making it out if it, and decided I had to make it out of hell and hit rap again full force. I had being doing very well in music years ago but stopped for a while, and it is one of my biggest regrets. The woman I love committed suicide and I went down hill after that for years, and was to depressed to make music, and got involved in the wrong things. But here I am, back and doing well, my whole city proud of me and supporting me, and Im going to keep on leveling up while hopefully helping many of you with my story, my skills, and my art.
