King Reeves, born Stephen Bayorgar Reeves, is a Liberian Afrobeats and kolofusion singer, songwriter, and actor from Margibi, Liberia, specifically the village of Howein. Born on January 19, 1999, to Stephen Borbor Bayorgar and Mamie Hellena Zeo, he was raised by his uncle, Thomas DC Reeves. He has three biological siblings: Ruth Bayorgar Warbar Varney, Shadraw Bayorgar Warbar, and Lovetee Bayorgar Warbar. Reeves' early life was marked by hardship. At age 10, his family moved to Unification city, where his father soon left to seek employment in Grand Bassa county. Initially, he supported the family, but eventually abandoned them for another woman, leaving his mother to care for the children. This led he and his siblings dropping out of school, with their mother struggling to provide for them. His elder sister Ruth, though unable to continue her education, found stability through marriage. His little brother Shadraw, however, received a scholarship and resumed his education.
