L.Á.L.A is a Portuguese artist, born in Santarém, who immigrated with her family to England when she was only 8 years old, and lived there for 11 years, only to return back home to Portugal in 2019. She began writing her own music and playing the guitar by the age of 16. Writing was her way off feeling good, and letting go of her bad thoughts and feelings. Consuming a variety of musical genres from a very young age, has made L.Á.L.A want to explore different kind of genres of music, and not want to focus on only one thing, she wants to step out of her comfort zone and do what feels right in the moment. Living in England experiencing different ideologies and cultures, has had an impact on her way of thinking and that is shown through her music. L.Á.L.A wants to help people and let them feel heard, by sharing her stories about mental health, personal insecurities, love, and her childhood .
