I was in a non-horse riding accident helping someone load a horse on the trailer this summer. I almost died instantly almost splitting my liver in half, along with many other injuries. I was in a coma for a week, and the surgeons said I had less than a 10% of surviving. I have been writing on the side for many years. I can not compete with my horses for the near future. Before the accident I was competing at the top of the level in show jumping. I have been trying to find a way to share my story, and it made me realize I should share the songs I write. I want to use my voice to help others overcome battles, and show you can come out on the other side.
