After a few early attempts of getting a band together in Oakland, CA in the mid-2000's, Michael Botte Band was born in Philadelphia in 2020 during Covid-19 quarantine. Michael Botte is influenced by the "grunge era", early 70's rock and roll, and many acoustic singer/songwriters that helped develop the sound. "I always messed around with music a bit, but when quarantine hit, I had extra time to try and play, record, and produce the songs I had written either 20 days or over 20 years ago.
