Mois Rammy, born Moises Ramirez in the Dominican Republic, is a dynamic artist whose journey from military service to music is as inspiring as it is unique. Growing up in Puerto Rico, Mois Rammy joined the Army Reserve in 1990, transitioning to the Regular Army in 1993. His military career, marked by dedication and resilience, included several prestigious military schools—such as Airborne, Infantry Officers Basic Course, Ranger, and Antiterrorism Advance Course—as well as combat tours in Afghanistan and Iraq. He also served overseas in Japan, Korea, and Colombia, culminating in his retirement from active duty in 2016. Despite his rigorous military background, Mois Rammy’s passion for music has always been a central part of his life. As a child, he played percussion instruments like the Tambora and Güira, which are integral to traditional merengue music. In 2023, he embraced his artistic side fully, dedicating himself to songwriting, singing, and producing music videos.
