Myke_D

Tallahassee, FL, USA

Raised on Detroit's Eastside, Myke saw the effects of drug, & gang culture early. The gangster image was appealing but he learned early there's also serious consequences. Providence led him to school in Oklahoma, then Florida. In Tallahassee he had a radical encounter with Jesus that changed him. Having searched for fulfillment in college girls, clubbing, and alcohol to no satisfaction, he found real peace in giving his life to Jesus. He dedicated his life to using his powerful voice and vivid story telling like a weapon in the hand of his Creator! Originally influenced by prolific lyricist like B.I.G, Wu Tang, Jay Z & 2 Pac, then discovered Christian artist like Cross Movement, Thi'sl, Da Truth, and Bizzle. Already a conscience rap/hardcore hip-hop hybrid he found a new home in 'Christian Rap.' He's collaborated & shared Stages with artist like Pro-Verbs, Royce Lovett, and 1159 Gang. His passion's reaching the lost and compelling the hard hearted of the hope of Jesus.
