Nico Tagliente makes ambient piano music for the edge of the unconscious — slow, luminous, contemporary instrumental sound woven with live electronics. He began as a cathedral organist, trained in Rome and Vienna, playing instruments built centuries before he was born. Then Vienna introduced him to electronic music, and to the question that has driven him ever since: what happens when the oldest way of filling a space with sound meets the newest? His sound carries Bach’s architecture, Arvo Pärt’s silence and the deep-space pull of Pink Floyd, dissolved into neoclassical and ambient textures that unfold in real time. He has performed at the Frauenkirche Dresden, the Philharmonie Vilnius and the German Bundestag in Berlin. His live show, The Resonant Mind, is a 70-minute immersive set for grand piano, live electronics and visual projections, premiering across Europe in 2026. Close your eyes and tell me what you see.
