Who is Norwrei?
I am trying to stay alive, writing, singing, just doing my things while sipping a bit of tea. Can you hear me?
A little more about me:
I'm a multi-genre digital and recording artist who uses words to help bring healing into a dark world.
I’m a singer/songwriter, poet, lyricist, recording & 3D artist. I play acoustic guitar, piano & Yamaha keys. I write, arrange & produce my music, often collaborating with other artists online. I've been on Soundclick & other platforms for over 20 years.
I've recently started using my vocals as a model for licensed synthetic vocals and also do collabs with other online artists.
I write all my lyrics, melodies, do all the editing, post editing, mastering and creation of videos. I use whatever digital tools that are available to me to help expand my creative musical canvas but with significant human and creative input from me.
Thanks for visiting. ❤️

Hrafn's Eyr
“Hrafn’s Eyr” is a dark folk ballad inspired by the lost medieval port of Ravenser Odd, a once-thriving town swallowed by the sea during the Great Drowning of 1362.
The title comes from the Old Norse origins connected to the region. Hrafn’s Eyr, later evolving into Ravenser Odd, meaning a raven’s tongue or point of land emerging from the sea.
I wrote the lyrics to Dorian Mode of Scarborough Fair.
The song follows the memory of a vanished land born from a Viking shipwreck, shaped by trade, greed, faith, and the unforgiving tide.
The repeated refrain, “Endless nights, have left me there,” became the emotional anchor of the song, replacing (Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Tyme) mourning not only a drowned city, but the persistence of memory itself.more

When Jane And Joe Come Home
An emotional, cinematic reimagining of the classic American military song "When Johnny Comes Marching Home." This haunting acoustic tribute honors the sacrifice of fallen soldiers, Veterans, and military families.
I've always loved the song "When Johnny Comes Marching Home," but to me, it carried a sad tone. Ever since I was a child, I've wanted to create lyrics and an arrangement that captured the emotions it stirred in me. This song is my way of honoring and thanking both the fallen soldiers and those who have served our country.more
