Formerly known as OdaMartian, Othello James is a Moroccan-American storyteller at the intersection of heartbreak and rebellion. Fusing bluesy guitar with lo-fi hip-hop textures, he writes songs like journal entries—messy, honest, cinematic. Raised on Nirvana, Lauryn Hill, and late-night silence, Othello’s music feels like a lost film score: equal parts confessional and confrontational. Whether crooning in falsetto or speaking through distortion, he gives voice to what most people bury.
