Pat began singing at the early age of 15 on the Caribbean Island of Trinidad where he formed a trio called the Canaries. The three friends went on to win an Island-wide televised contest called "Scouting for Talent." Returning to his native Jamaica, Pat joined the Jaywalkers, a six piece R&B/Rock Steady/Reggae band that enjoyed much popularity with the local islanders. Migrating to Toronto in the late 1960's, Pat played with various R&B groups while appearing at venues in and around the Toronto area and covering numerous road tours. His vocal training began at Toronto's Royal Conservatory of Music and Humber College's Jazz Program. He holds a degree in Psychology from York University in Toronto. His debut album “Come Into My Life” was nominated for Traditional Gospel Album of the Year at the 2006 Gospel Music Covenant Awards (GMA), and songs: "Lord of "Lords, King of Kings" and "Come Into My Life" were nominated for song of the year. He composes and records in his home-studio.

Never Alone (We Stand Together)
This song is in memory of the 10 souls who lost their lives (mostly women) and the 16 seriously and permanently injured following the now infamous 'van attack' in Toronto April 23, 2018. The trial of the attacker/driver is about to take place. The song was recorded in my home studio with piano. I also did all the back up vocals and played all the midi parts except for a couple logic pro loops used for the background chorus. This was a very difficult track to finish given the circumstances surrounding the incident. Lyrically, this can also identify with the surviving families who have lost loved ones due to the current pandemic. https://youtu.be/l9DERNZ9i7w more

Say You Say Me
This is a cover of Lionel Richie's mammoth hit. This was track five on my 2006 debut Gospel Album "Come Into My Life" (the album was nominated for 'Traditional Gospel Album of the Year' at the 'Gospel Music Covenant Awards' (GMA). The song was suggested by the album's producer Eddie Bullen of "Thunder Dome Sound" in Toronto and once again, Eddie brought his magic as did multitalented singer Renee Rowe with her wide vocal-range which lifted me up.more

What Would Jesus Do
This is from my 2006 debut Gospel Album "Come Into My Life." This was produced by Eddie Bullen at 'Thunder Dome Sound' in Toronto. Eddie brought his "midi magic" into the production. Kudos to the outstanding back-up vocals of Renee Rowe who's vocal range is outstanding. I recently add the horns myself. The album was nominated for 'Traditional Gospel Album of the Year' at the 'Gospel Covenant Awards' (GMA). The lyrics speak to gun violence and the systemic issues-causes-for such violence as a result of slavery and racism. It also addresses the multitude of shootings by police of young black; brown men; women; indigenous and people of colour particularly in the USA but also worldwide.more
