Lubowa Michael Derrick is the pioneering producer and songwriter behind the musical project, Rogue Hymn and Aura Riot. Hailing from Kampala, Uganda, his work is a testament to resilience, becoming a self-producing artist after facing repeated rejection and the theft of his original music ideas.
Derrick channels this definitive journey into his art, creating a "sonic autobiography" where he personally pens all the lyrics based on raw, deeply personal experiences. The music is designed for the world to learn and reflect.
The project’s sound is a masterful blend of two seemingly disparate genres: the chilled, introspective textures of Lo-Fi beats and the raw, rhythmic power of Dubstep. This unique soundscape serves as the vessel for his stories, delivered through groundbreaking collaboration with the AI vocalists Rogue Hymn and Aura Riot. Derrick is redefining how authentic human narratives can be protected and amplified by cutting-edge technology.

🔊 Lowest Tide: Deep House Clarity
A hypnotic blend of Melodic Deep House and Organic Techno driven by a soulful Amapiano beat. Starting with whispered introspection, the track builds to a powerful, hopeful declaration. The mantra: "LOWEST TIDE / WAS MY SOLID GROUND" sets the tone for this 122 BPM journey from static to clarity. Feel the rhythm and "BREAK. THE. GLASS. / LET THE LIGHT PASS!"more

No Textbook for forever
Please like follow me on Spotify and other social media platforms I will appreciate every support you give.
This what the song is about..
The song tackles the fear and uncertainty of commitment, moving past the idea of love as a "transaction" to accepting that there's "no textbook for forever." The lyrics are fiercely honest, admitting to past mistakes ("I made it hard on you") and comparing their real lives to the "curated highlight reels" on social media. It culminates in a powerful declaration that the couple must be their own "students and the teachers," breaking old rules to create a new legacy of love for the next generation.more
