Playing the saxophone, falling in love with jazz music, performing in musicals, and attending concerts are only some of the ways music began to nurture the passion in Rielle, that would breathe life into her musical journey. She pulls from her experiences in when writing lyrics, and her jazz improv and music studies when composing the melodies to carry her words. Rielle believes music is a form of communication that can transcend any kind of barrier; a language barrier, emotional, or physical. She stresses that music not only connects us to one and other, but even more so, to ourselves. "When I am faced with strife, or feeling intense emotions good or bad, I turn to music to disperse or invigorate the feelings. It is quite cathartic for me when creating." She describes it as a way to tell her truths. "I see it as a release of emotion, that I then capture and express honestly through my music." Rielle is currently working on collaborations for 2021.
