Ember & Smoke burns through Southern Gothic atmosphere, outlaw rock, dark romance and raw storytelling—driven by Ember’s smoky female voice, Smoke’s deep baritone presence, haunting instrumentation and songs built from fire, devotion, scars and beautiful darkness. Then there’s PreeXisting Damage: bass-first, genre-resistant and gloriously unhinged. Filthy 5-string bass collides with dubstep, metal, rap-rock, grunge, industrial noise, psychedelic distortion and warped circus insanity. Dark humor, crushing emotion and unpredictable genre mutations make every track a documented incident. They shouldn’t sound like they came from the same creator. That’s the point.
