Come Back Again (Liberty Hall Session)
When I wrote "Come Back Again", I thought I was telling one specific story. Then I realized I really wasn't. Of course, there is that one person. The one you thought was gone for good. The one you stop expecting to hear from until one day their name suddenly appears again on your screen, in a conversation, or somewhere in the back of your mind. But over the years, I started noticing something even stranger. It wasn't just her. It was almost everyone. Some came back after a few weeks. Others after months. A few even after years. The circumstances were different. The faces were different. The stories were different. Yet the movement was always the same. Musically, I wanted the song to capture that feeling of repetition. The tempo keeps moving forward without dramatic interruptions, almost like a wheel that never completely stops turning. The arrangement grows gradually rather than relying on huge drops or explosive moments. Instead, it creates the sensation of something familiar returning in a slightly different form. The production stays spacious and restrained. Layers build one after another, like memories stacking on top of each other. Every section introduces something new while still carrying a sense of déjà vu. That's exactly how many of these relationships felt to me. Different beginnings, different people, yet somehow leading back to emotions I thought I had already lived through. "Come Back Again" is about someone coming back. But underneath that, it's about a realization. After enough time, you start seeing a pattern. Some people return. Then more people return. And eventually you begin to wonder if life itself is quietly repeating the same lesson through different faces. ============================================ #VERSE You pulled me close then stepped away Warm one minute, gone by Monday I thought love moved in honest lines Not coded games and shifting signs #VERSE Tuesday felt like silent blame Your distant eyes were not the same I blamed your fear, your fragile heart Thought deep attachment tore apart #PRE-CHORUS Somehow Wednesday changed my view Lately I could see through you Maybe hearts now scroll for new #CHORUS I hear your voice come back again After the crowds, after the spin Saying no one held you like I did Saying no one saw beneath your skin Part of me wants to let you in Part of me knows where this has been Love is not better, worse or win So I keep walking through the wind #VERSE Thursday taught me what was real Too much choice can slowly steal Every bond begins to fade When love becomes a thing to trade #VERSE Friday nights felt cold and fast Like nothing living ever lasts They trade through people way too quick Then call deep loneliness a glitch #PRE-CHORUS Yesterday Saturday felt strange Somehow modern love had changed Suddenly hearts behaved the same #CHORUS I hear your voice come back again After the crowds, after the spin Saying no one held you like I did Saying no one saw beneath your skin Part of me wants to let you in Part of me knows where this has been Love is not better, worse or win So I keep walking through the wind #BRIDGE Some people search until they rot Some people lose what they once got Some people learn too late to see That love needs depth, not novelty #OUTRO Sunday came, you called again After the crowds, after the spin Saying no one held you like I did Saying no one saw beneath your skin Part of me died where this had been Part of me healed beneath the wind Love is not better, worse or win So I kept walking past Sunday windmore

7 Years Late
When I was just out of school, barely in my twenties, it felt like everyone around me was finding someone to build a life with. Then I met a woman who seemed to arrive at exactly the right moment. Everything lined up, and I wanted to believe she was the right person for me. Deep down, though, there were small things I couldn't ignore. It wasn't that anything was wrong with her. I simply never felt the kind of attraction that should have been there from the beginning. I convinced myself that real love was a choice, that mature people looked past imperfections, and that my feelings would eventually catch up. They never did. For seven years, we built an honest life together. I never wanted someone else, and I never stayed because I was waiting for another person. I genuinely wanted our relationship to work. But I slowly realized I had been giving my commitment without ever giving my whole heart. I wasn't lying to her on purpose. I was lying to myself first. During a vacation in Spain, in a hotel room, I finally ended the relationship. At the time, I blamed her for seeming emotionally distant because it made the decision easier to justify. Looking back, I know the truth. She hadn't pulled away. I had been emotionally absent for years, and blaming her was the coward's way out. I'm not proud of how I ended it. But even more than that, I'm not proud that it took me seven years to find the courage to be honest. The biggest mistake wasn't leaving. It was staying, hoping that time would create feelings that were never truly there, while unknowingly asking someone else to build their future on that hope. This song isn't about blaming anyone. It's about taking responsibility. Sometimes the greatest act of cowardice isn't walking away... it's staying long enough to let someone believe they're fully loved when, deep inside, you already know they deserve more than you can honestly give. ============================ [VERSE] Fresh out of school, barely twenty one Everyone already had someone I wasn't the guy they turned around to see So being chosen felt enough for me Then you came at the perfect time Every light was turning green There were little things I couldn't ignore But I convinced myself they didn't mean a thing I said love was more than chemistry More than beauty, more than sparks I thought a better man would simply learn To silence every question in his heart [PRE-CHORUS] So I called my doubts "being mature" I called my silence "being sure" [CHORUS] Seven Years Late That's how long it took To stop pretending tomorrow would change me Seven Years Late You gave me all your days While I kept waiting for feelings That never came my way I wasn't looking for somebody else I wasn't dreaming of another life My biggest mistake Was believing time Could teach my heart to love what's never felt right [VERSE] Nothing ever really fell apart No broken doors, no shouting in the dark Just dinners, birthdays, holidays Two good people drifting every day I stayed faithful through every year My promises were always real But every kiss was hoping secretly Tomorrow would become the day I'd finally feel You deserved a man completely there Not one forever almost there [PRE-CHORUS] Then Spain... that hotel room You seemed a little far away So I blamed your distance for the end Because it hurt less than saying... [BRIDGE] You never stopped reaching for me I was the one already gone You didn't become colder I only ran out of excuses I'm not ashamed because I left I'm ashamed because I stayed I borrowed seven years of your future While waiting for my heart to wake [FINAL CHORUS] Seven Years Late Not because I walked away Because I finally admitted I should've done it anyway People think the coward leaves Now I know that's not the truth The coward was the younger man Too afraid to start anew You gave me love without conditions I gave you hope without certainty And that's the hardest thing I'll ever carry Seven Years Late... Seven years... Too late for us Just in time To finally learn what love should never be. [OUTRO] If love needs years just to begin... You're probably asking the wrong person to wait.more

Bad Limerence, Piano (unreleased)
Hey everyone, This isn't perfect... honestly, it's not even a release. It's just an unreleased song I wanted to share, especially for those of you who enjoyed the piano versions I've been posting lately. The arrangement is still very raw. Nothing is really finished yet. The reason it's staying unreleased is that it's probably a little too personal. It's a small fragment of my life from late 2025, and for a long time I wasn't sure I wanted anyone else to hear it. But sometimes a song doesn't need to be finished to be honest. I hope you'll enjoy it. 🤍 ================== [VERSE] Midnight on your empty street Headlights cutting through the rain Two hours just to reach your door Then turn around again You were sleeping when I came So I let the silence win Halfway home your message lit The dark I was driving in Underneath the yellow streetlight Pajamas in the cold night air You stood outside my window Like nothing needed to be said You in the quiet, me in the car Just inches in between Close enough to feel the tension Too careful to be seen [PRE-CHORUS] Your silence said more than your voice But neither crossed the line We let the moment stay undefined As if that would keep it fine [CHORUS] You’re so close to me Bad limerence in the light Somewhere between a spark And something we don’t define You don’t give it a name I don’t force it to But something in this distance Feels painfully true You’re so close to me Bad limerence, me and you [VERSE] We planned a simple movie night But nothing stayed aligned No seats left, the system failed Bad timing every time You caught the flu, I hurt my leg Everything went wrong And somehow in the middle of it We stayed, though we didn’t hold on They say what matters shows itself When comfort falls apart Maybe truth appears more clear When things don’t start [BRIDGE] Funny how when things felt easy That’s when everything collapsed No fire, no loud goodbye Just silence, cold and flat No more calls, no late night lights No messages to read You walked away without a sound Like distance was what you need You’re so far from me Further than before Rooms without your shadow Closed and quiet doors And still You’re so close to me Closer than I can explain Like something in my bloodstream Still carries your name [FINAL CHORUS] You’re so far from me No touch, no trace, no sign Just empty space between us And too much silent time You’re so close to me Bad limerence remains Buried under distance Under unspoken pain No reason, no conclusion No logic I can see You’re so far from me And still so close to me [OUTRO] Do I have to wait for hell on earth For you to reach for my hand Because what survives the fire Isn’t comfort, isn’t demand It’s the grip that doesn’t loosen When everything else bends You’re so far from me You’re so close to me And I still don’t know whymore
