Come Back Again (Liberty Hall Session)
When I wrote "Come Back Again", I thought I was telling one specific story.
Then I realized I really wasn't.
Of course, there is that one person. The one you thought was gone for good. The one you stop expecting to hear from until one day their name suddenly appears again on your screen, in a conversation, or somewhere in the back of your mind.
But over the years, I started noticing something even stranger.
It wasn't just her.
It was almost everyone.
Some came back after a few weeks. Others after months. A few even after years.
The circumstances were different. The faces were different. The stories were different.
Yet the movement was always the same.
Musically, I wanted the song to capture that feeling of repetition. The tempo keeps moving forward without dramatic interruptions, almost like a wheel that never completely stops turning. The arrangement grows gradually rather than relying on huge drops or explosive moments. Instead, it creates the sensation of something familiar returning in a slightly different form.
The production stays spacious and restrained. Layers build one after another, like memories stacking on top of each other. Every section introduces something new while still carrying a sense of déjà vu. That's exactly how many of these relationships felt to me. Different beginnings, different people, yet somehow leading back to emotions I thought I had already lived through.
"Come Back Again" is about someone coming back.
But underneath that, it's about a realization.
After enough time, you start seeing a pattern.
Some people return.
Then more people return.
And eventually you begin to wonder if life itself is quietly repeating the same lesson through different faces.

#VERSE
You pulled me close then stepped away
Warm one minute, gone by Monday
I thought love moved in honest lines
Not coded games and shifting signs
#VERSE
Tuesday felt like silent blame
Your distant eyes were not the same
I blamed your fear, your fragile heart
Thought deep attachment tore apart
#PRE-CHORUS
Somehow Wednesday changed my view
Lately I could see through you
Maybe hearts now scroll for new
#CHORUS
I hear your voice come back again
After the crowds, after the spin
Saying no one held you like I did
Saying no one saw beneath your skin
Part of me wants to let you in
Part of me knows where this has been
Love is not better, worse or win
So I keep walking through the wind
#VERSE
Thursday taught me what was real
Too much choice can slowly steal
Every bond begins to fade
When love becomes a thing to trade
#VERSE
Friday nights felt cold and fast
Like nothing living ever lasts
They trade through people way too quick
Then call deep loneliness a glitch
#PRE-CHORUS
Yesterday Saturday felt strange
Somehow modern love had changed
Suddenly hearts behaved the same
#CHORUS
I hear your voice come back again
After the crowds, after the spin
Saying no one held you like I did
Saying no one saw beneath your skin
Part of me wants to let you in
Part of me knows where this has been
Love is not better, worse or win
So I keep walking through the wind
#BRIDGE
Some people search until they rot
Some people lose what they once got
Some people learn too late to see
That love needs depth, not novelty
#OUTRO
Sunday came, you called again
After the crowds, after the spin
Saying no one held you like I did
Saying no one saw beneath your skin
Part of me died where this had been
Part of me healed beneath the wind
Love is not better, worse or win
So I kept walking past Sunday windmore
