An up and coming rapper and songwriter from Virginia Beach. Nazir, hoping to reach the pivotal heights of his namesake, is one of the most exciting new talents out of the star ridden state of VA. Growing up with a father from Brooklyn, NY, he learned at an early age about the essence of East Coast Rap and what it meant to be a true MC. His sound evokes the soulful essence of his modern day influences such as J Cole, Phora, Chance the Rapper, and the late Mac Miller, while also being filled with authenticity and raw emotion that you can feel in every track. His music draws from his life experiences, humble beginnings and learning to cope with unpleasant memories. Through his music he’s able to connect and inspire others who’ve gone through many of the same things. His new EP “Soulful Joyride” set to release in 2021 delves into the experiences and emotions that have inspired the foundation of his music and soul - love, joy, pain, anxiety, relationships and growth.
