Founded in the late fall of 2020 by Dustin Fairbanks, Saved By Fire’s sound utilizes a unique orchestration of rock, metal, hardcore and pop with ethereal lead instruments and vocal melodies. Fairbanks’ vocal style, consisting of gut-wrenching screams and soft melodies, captures the ears of eclectic listeners. Saved By Fire makes it their mission to use their music as a vehicle to share faith, love, and hope. Saved By Fire’s debut album, “I Am That I Am” centers around a life-changing experience Fairbanks had. Rooted deep throughout the album is Fairbanks’ belief that we all have more in common than we know. The album echoes the sentiment that humans are designed for one purpose, which per Fairbanks, is to love. Biblical references weave their way throughout the album reflecting back into the title of the album itself, “I Am That I Am”, which is a reference to God’s love. Early reviews have described this album as Fairbanks’ masterpiece and a true showing of his growth as a musician.
