Sierissa(pronounced Shé-Ree-Sa) is a singer/songwriter, dancer, and multidisciplinary performer whose work lives at the intersection of softness and survival. Raised across continents—from the Netherlands to Hong Kong to Jakarta—her international background seeps into every chord and cadence, merging East and West, tradition and rebellion. She began writing and self-releasing music at 14, using her voice to speak truth to a patriarchal world. Her upcoming project, To Whom It May Concern, blends dreamlike R&B textures with diary-like songwriting, echoing influences like Jorja Smith, Sevdaliza, and Kali Uchis. Armed with a Master’s in Arts & Society and an instinct for storytelling, Sierissa is crafting more than songs—she’s building a sanctuary for anyone learning how to be whole. Whether moving through ethereal harmonies or understated grooves, Sierissa’s music holds space for vulnerability, love, and reclamation.
