Awoyemi damilare Emmanuel better known as Starkid Dacoz is a South African based Nigerian Songwriter/Artist, he was born on the 16th of September 1997 in surulere Lagos Nigeria. He started writing music at the age of 12,at that time he was more focused on dancing ,he was in dance crew called the nation boys with his younger brother (Samuel),they performed at birthday parties and other small parties around them. Starkid started his school journey in Lagos Nigeria and later moved to South Africa in 2011 to finish his high school studies, he his presently studying public relations and marketing at Boston city college. Starkid is an afro pop artist and does other type of genre too, he started making waves in his based city Welkom free state in 2016 when he released his first single koloi, the single did so well and pushed Starkid to shooting a video for the song and his career as been growing ever since then.
