The tree is fully dressed And I know we’ve all been blessed Let the snow fall down all night Goodnight Christmas tree goodnight I’ll see you again in the morning light Filled with wonder and the gifts you hold under Goodnight Christmas tree goodnight The children gather in the morning. and sit around your lights Excited to open their gifts With the spirit it invites. The tree is fully dressed And I know we’ve all been blessed Let the snow fall down all night Goodnight Christmas tree goodnight I’ll see you again in the morning light Filled with wonder and the gifts you hold under Goodnight Christmas tree goodnight The little train passes through the village of figurines And It seems like a moment right out of our dreams As we gather around the table We talk and laugh forever We stow away more memories Of our life and times together Another year has come to rest And I know we’ve all been blessed Let the snow fall down all night Goodnight Christmas tree goodnight I’ll see you again in the morning light Filled with wonder and the gifts you hold under Goodnight Christmas tree goodnight ***************************************************************** A Christmas song I wrote for my Grandchildrenmore
