Tooth & Dagger are an alternative metal band from West Midlands, UK. They are Dante Efemey (Vocals), Dale Henshaw (Guitars), Iain Sutherland (Guitars), Lucinda Stevenson (Bass/Vocals), Chris Watson (Drums). Ned’s Atomic Dustbin frontman Jonn Penney, an early mentor of theirs, describes the sound as “…a potent, focused, hook- driven metal machine with songs that knock you over then coax you back to your feet again with vocals that are angelic and beastly all at once.” The Embers EP showcases catchy vocal hooks with grooving dynamics and colossal riffs, drawing on diverse influences including nu-metal, heavy rock, prog with a cinematic soundtrack flavour. The video for debut single Heaven Made features the band in a gritty reworking of ‘The Princess and the Frog‘, then the dark saga continues with second single Sinking Feelings (out Summer 2022), a swashbuckling tale of revenge on a ghostly galleon.
