Anna Simon, born and raised in Brooklyn, NY grew up in a Caribbean family that taught her that “Children must be seen, and not heard.” But Anna always knew that she would do anything to make her voice heard. Once a dancer, she was later introduced by her father to private voice lessons. Although Anna hated it, she later grew a passion for it and began auditioning for art schools in the city. Her acceptance to her dream arts high school inspired her to take music seriously. Onto college, Anna is majoring in classical voice performance. She was always told that she would be an opera singer, but she is proving that she is rather highly versatile. Anna aspires to write requiems just like famous musicians such as Schubert, to contrastingly performing her pop songs at the Billboard Music Awards. With God and family by her side, Anna will become the next breakthrough in the music industry and the world around her.
