Robert Morton is a Chapel Hill–based artist whose music blends candid storytelling with an unflinching look at life’s transitions. What began in his 20s as a way to navigate change has grown into a passion centered on honesty and vulnerability, reflected in his debut Late Night Thoughts (2021), the follow-up I Would Fall Apart Without You (2023), and a third album now in the works. Beyond the studio, Morton has been building a presence across North Carolina’s Triangle, performing at breweries, pop-up markets, and venues with live shows that balance the intimacy of a coffee shop vibe with dynamic use of a loop pedal, layering stripped-down acoustic moments into expansive pop textures. With each project and performance, he continues to refine his craft, connect with listeners, and expand his reach.
