Bitpunk is the moniker of the Florence‑based electronic producer who is redefining the sound of contemporary Italian trip‑hop.
Born during the sleepless nights of Florence’s underground studios, the Bitpunk project explores the border between digital aesthetics and analog warmth, between technical precision and emotional vulnerability. The result is a sound that evokes Portishead, Massive Attack, and Burial, but with a distinctly European sensibility.
His signature production combines:
Atmospheric trip‑hop and downtempo beats (85–110 BPM)
Vintage analog synths (Moog Sub Phatty, Prophet‑5, Juno‑60)
Deep sub‑bass at 50–69 Hz with side‑chain breathing compression
Urban field recordings captured between 2 and 5 AM (rain on asphalt, empty subways, buzzing neon lights, distant sirens)
Saxophone processed with cathedral‑style reverb (6–9 seconds)
Lo‑fi textures: vinyl crackle, tape saturation, 12‑bit bit‑crushing
Expressive dynamic range (DR9–DR12) for maximum emoti

Notturno Città
"Notturno Città" is a cinematic, atmospheric track by Bitpunk that captures the solitary wandering through neon-lit city streets at night.
The song paints a vivid picture of urban solitude—rain-soaked pavements, glowing reflections of pink and blue neon signs, and the contemplative mood of a lone figure navigating the nocturnal landscape.
With its cyber-punk aesthetic and melancholic jazz-noir undertones, "Notturno Città" explores themes of isolation, introspection, and the beauty of the night. The track blends electronic elements with dreamy, immersive soundscapes, creating a sonic journey through the quiet intensity of the city after dark.
Perfect for late-night drives, reflective moments, or anyone drawn to the mystique of urban nights.more
