Cassidy is an up-and-coming indie singer/songwriter and composer from Sydney, Australia. Currently studying at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music she is completing a Bachelor of Music majoring in Composition for Creative Industries. Entering the composition and song writing field quite late in her life, she discovered the ability to create new and unheard sounds to be rather captivating, being able to tap into a more vulnerable side of her creativity that is often limited in performing. Harnessing this love for creating and sharing, she writes her lyrics straight from the heart creating a deeply personal insight into her life. This can be reflected in her latest EP, ‘Sometimes I Feel’ – a thought-provoking and raw representation of herself. Her latest project features two new singles focusing on exploring and experimenting with a new sound pulling inspiration from iconic women artists of the 80’s, emanating a new fusion of Aussie Funk.
